Question: Occasionally there is an inactive, pointless block in my Scene. What is the deal with that?
That's a very good question. I'm really not sure yet.
The Block Editor creates an inactive Block in the Scene view that is will operate on (add, remove Variants etc) and will subsequentely either save or revert when closing.
Occasionally it seems that the Block Editor will be closed improperly, and the current working block won't be destroyed.
It's on my To-Do list, people. I'll figure it out at some stage.
Until then, it's not a game-breaker. Delete those things and keep on with the business of keeping on.
